No. 692.--It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-in-Council has, under Section 90 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, (Ordinance No. 1 of 1903), this day appointed the area hereinafter described as a sufficient and proper place to be the site of and to be used as a Cemetery or burial ground for Chinese from the first day of January, 1907, and that it shall, from that date and until further notice, be deemed to be an authorized Cemetery.

DESCRIPTION.

A plot of land at Kai Lung Wan having an area of about 12 acres and the following boundaries:- North: Farm Lots 14 and 15 and the Jubilee and Pokfulam Roads; South: the present Kai Lung Wan Cemetery; East: the Pokfulam Road; West: Farm Lot 15.

Rule made by the Governor-in-Council under Section 3 of the New Territories Regulation Ordinance, 1899, (Ordinance No. 8 of 1899) and Section 29 of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, (Ordinance

No. 10 of 1899), this 26th day of July, 1906.

The form of licence in the Schedule to the Rules made by the Governor-in-Council for the regulation, control and licensing of Oyster Fisheries at Deep Bay and other places in the New Territories on the 27th day of July, 1904, is hereby amended by adding the following condition :--

CONDITION.

3. Unless the licensee is a native of and resides in Hongkong or the New Territo- ries he shall upon his licence being granted to him deposit with the Colonial Treasurer a sum of $100 as security for his due attendance before the Assistant Land Officer whenever required, such sum of $100 to be forfeited to the Colonial Government if and whenever the licensee fails to attend when so required.

No. 694.-It is hereby notified that under No. 13 of the Regulations published in Government Notification No. 671 of the 10th August, 1906, His Excellency the Governor- in-Council has fixed the rate at which royalties are to be paid for the remainder of the current year in respect of metals and minerals other than gold, silver and precious stones at ten cents for every ton of such metals or minerals when ready for exportation or for smelting or reducing.

No. 695.-It is hereby notified that under No. 1 of the Regulations published in Government Notification No. 671 of the 10th August, 1906, His Excellency the Governor- in-Council has been pleased to grant Licences to Sir CATCHICK PAUL CHATER, Kt., C.M.G., to prospect for metals and minerals other than gold, silver and precious stones in the Districts of Lantao Island, Tsun Wan and Shatin.
