HARBOUR MASTER'S DEPARTMENT.
No. 665.-Information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under:
On the 7th, 18th, 17th, 20th and 21st August, from West of Stonecutters Island, in a South-Westerly direction, at ranges up to 6,000 yards, commencing at 9.30 a.m., and finishing at 12 noon.
On Wednesday, 22nd August:-
From East of Stonecutters Island, in a Westerly direction, at ranges up to
8,000 yards, commencing at 9.30 a.m., and finishing at 11 a.m.
On Friday, 24th August:-
From Elliott, in a North-Westerly direction, at ranges up to 8,000 yards,
commencing at 9.30 a.m., and finishing at 11 a.m.
If the weather is unfavourable on any of the above dates, practice will take place on the following day.
All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.
