With reference to Government Notification No. 228 of the 20th April, 1905, His Excellency the Governor with the advice of the Executive Council has been pleased to appoint DAVID WOOD to be a Director of the Widows and Orphans' Pension Fund in succession to EDWARD CORNEwall Lynch LEWIS, absent from the Colony,

No. 630.-His Excellency the Governor-in-Council has been pleased under the provi- sions of Section 7 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, (Ordinance No. 1 of 1903), to add the following names to the List of Authorized Architects:-

No. 631.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to declare under Section 5- of The Asylums Ordinance, 1906, (Ordinance No. 6 of 1906) the Government Asylum to be an asylum for the detention, custody and care of persons of unsound mind.

No. 632. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint under Section 6 of The Asylums Ordinance, 1906, (Ordinance, No. 6 of 1906) all persons now holding or who shall hereafter hold the office of Justice of the Peace in this Colony to be Visitors of the Government Asylum.

No. 634. The fee for the Bacteriological Examination in the Government Bacterio- logical Institute of, and Report on, any Chemical Disinfectant will be $25, and the Examina- tion will be conducted under the Conditions, so far as applicable, laid down in Government Notification No. 644 of the 20th October, 1902, published in the Government Gazette of the 24th October, 1902.
It will be a further condition that the Report shall not be published or used as an advertisement without the permission in writing of the officer furnishing the Report having been previously obtained.
