Kodono-jima Buoy, Inland Sea.

NOTICE is hereby given that Kodono-Jima Buoy, Mihara-Seto, which was drifted from its mooring (see notification No. 572 of Department of Communications, July, 1916) has been remoored in its due position.

Entrance to Nagasaki Harbour.

NOTICE is hereby given that Osone Buoy on the shoal Osone, entrance to Nagasaki Harbour, shall be permanently withdrawn at the beginning of October and at the same time Osone Lighted Buoy be moored in the same position.

Osone Lighted Buoy.

Description:-Iron frustum of cone, red and black horizontal bands, surmounted by

a lattice work supporting a lantern.

Height of light :--12 shaku.

Character of light :-Acetylene gas flashing white, showing one flash every 3 seconds. Illuminated are:- The whole horizon.

Power-100 candles.

Visible distance :-8 miles in clear night.

Further notice will be given after the above Buoy has been changed.

NOTICE TO MARINERS No. 459.

San Jose, Antique.

September 12, 1916.

AN automatic acetylene flashing light, showing one white flash every five (5) seconds, was established September 2, 1916, at Tubigan Point, San Jose, Antique, west coast of Panay. The light is shown from a white concrete pillar set on the top of an old fort. Height of light above mean high water, 30 feet; and from base of fort to center of lantern, 40 feet. The light is visible through all approaches by water thereto, and from a distance of 9 miles.

10° 44′ 30′′ N. ...121° 54' 02" E.

The fixed red and green lights on the jetties of Iloilo River were replaced Sep- tember 7, 1916, by automatic acetylene flashing lights, showing one flash every five (5) seconds and the same characteristics as heretofore. Both lights are shown from white concrete pillars, 15 feet above mean high water, 13 feet above ground, and visible 7 miles.
