The successful tenderer will be required to sign a formal contract containing condi- tions to be prescribed by the Board and to give security by depositing the sum of $5,000 in the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in the name of the Colonial Treasurer; failing compliance with these requirements the sum deposited with the tender will be forfeited.
For form of tender, particulars and conditions of contract apply at the Colonial Secretary's Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender.
