Chinese Gun-boat Sunk near Taishek.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is reported that a Chinese gun-boat lies sunk in the fairway at Taishek Barrier. Vessels should, therefore, navigate in the vicinity with caution.
As soon as it is possible to do so steps will be taken to have the wreck removed.

Special Navigation Rules to become operative on the 1st September 1916.
NOTICE is hereby given that on and after the 1st September 1916 the Special Naviga- tion Rules appended hereto will be operative on the Haiho from the Deep Hole to Tient-
sin.
The Special Navigation Rules will be enforceable on vessels of all nationalities by virtue of their incorporation in a new issue of Tientsin Harbour Regulations which will be dated the 1st Septeinber 1916.

SPECIAL NAVIGATION RULES OPERATIVE FROM DEEP HOLE TO TIENTSIN.
(To come into operation on 1st September 1916.)
ARTICLE 1.-The following rules are special rules as provided for in Article 30 of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, which Regulations are also operative except in so far as they are modified by these Special Navigation Rules. In these Special Navigation Rules the word "vessel" refers to sea-going power vessels and to tugs only.
