The Astronomical positions are only approximate unless seconds are given. The bearings are given both True and Magnetic, and those relating to lights are from seaward. The visibility of lights is that in clear weather. Fog signals are sounded only in thick or foggy weather. The heights given are above high water.

Low Head Light Alteration in Character.
WITH reference to Notice to Mariners No. 12 of 1915, Mariners and others are hereby notified that the white revolving light on Low Head has been replaced by a group flashing white light, showing three flashes in quick succession every 15 seconds, thus:-
