NOTICE is hereby given that a Petition

was on the 25th day of May, 1916, pre- sented to the Supreme Court of Hongkong by the above-named Company to confirm an altera- tion of the said Company's objects proposed to be effected by a Special Resolution of the Com- pany, unanimously passed at an Extraodinary General Meeting of the said Company held on the 3rd day of May, 1916, and subsequently unanimously confirmed at an Extraordinary General Meeting of the said Company held on the 19th day of May, 1916, and which Resolu- tion runs as follows:-

"That the provisions of the Company's "Memorandum of Association with "respect to its objects be altered so as to read as in the Print signed by "the Chairman of the Meeting for the

purposes of identification."

And Notice is further given that the said Petition is directed to be heard before His Honour Mr. Justice GOMPERTZ, on Monday, the 26th day of June, 1916, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon and any person interested in the said Company whether as Creditor policy holder or otherwise desirous to oppose the making of an Order for the confirmation of the said alteration under the above Ordinance should appear at the time of hearing by himself or his Counsel for the purpose and a copy of the said Petition will be furnished to any such person requiring the same by the undersigned the Company's Solicitors on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

An oblong label divided horizontally into three panels. The middle panel is intersected by two vertical scrolls and in the space between these vertical scrolls appears in the upper part the representation of a winged fist with the words " Trade Mark and in the lower part a representation of the British Houses of Parliament and in the middle are the words "Gold Baad Virginia Cigarettes".
