New Lights Established.
Mariquitdaquit Island.
Ax automatic acetylene flashing light, showing one white flash every ten (10) seconds, was established May 29, 1916, on Mariquitdaquit Island, southeastern part of San Pedro Bay, southwest coast of Samar. The light is shown from a white concrete beacon. Height of light above mean high water, 60 feet. Visible 10 miles.
Jinamoc Island.
An automatic acetylene flashing light, showing one white flash every 34 seconds, was established May 30, 1916, on the west side of Jinamoc Island, San Pedro Bay, southwest coast of Samar. The light is shown from a white concrete pillar. Height of light above mean high water, 78 feet. Visible 10 miles.
