NOTICE is hereby given that WESTMINSTER
TOBACCO COMPANY, LIMITED, of West- minster House, 7, Millbank, London, S.W., England; Tobacco Manufacturers, have on the 6th day of April, 1916, applied for the registra- tion in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark:—
An oblong label divided horizontally into three panels. The middle panel is intersected by two vertical scrolls and in the space between these vertical scrolls appears in the upper part the representation of a winged fist with the words "Trade Mark" and in the lower part a representation of the British Houses of Parliament and in the middle are the words "Gold Band Virginia Cigarettes". At the right hand end of the label upon the middle panel is an oval bearing the name of the applicants,
in the name of WESTMINSTER TOBACCO COMPANY, LIMITED, who claim to be the proprietors there- of.
The Trade Mark has been used by the Ap- plicants in respect of Manufactured Tobacco, since the 23rd day of January, 1916, in Class
45.
The above mentioned Trade Mark is to be associated with Trade Marks Nos. 72, 170, 171. 172, and 173 of 1913 and No. 6 of 1915.
in the name of SIU NAN LUN, who claims to be at the Office of the Registrar of Trade Marks of
the proprietor thereof.
The Trade Mark has been used by the Ap- plicant in respect of Common soap and other
Substances used as food, or as ingredients preparations for laundry purposes, since July
in food, in Class 42.
