Entrance to the Min River.
Alterations in Buoyage.
NOTICE is hereby given that the buoyage of the Outer Bar South Channel, Min River Entrance, has been discontinued, and that the Outer Bar North Channel has been buoyed as follows :
A 10 foot conical Buoy painted red, surmounted by a Spherical day mark, and to be known as the Entrance Buoy, is now moored in 23 feet of water on the northern side of the Entrance to the Min River. From the Buoy, Ree's Rock bears S. 65° W., distant 4.2 miles.
A 10 foot conical Buoy painted red, surmounted by a Frustrum day mark, and to be known as the Central, Buoy, is now moored in 23 feet of water with Ree's Rock bearing S. 36° W., distant 2 miles, and marks the starboard side of the Channel for vessels bound up river.
A 10 foot conical Buoy painted red, surmounted by a Spherical day mark, and to be known as the Inner Buoy, is now moored in 18 feet of water, with Ree's Rock bearing S. 43 E., distant 2 miles and marks the starboard side of the Channel in the eastern approach to the Inner Bar.
All bearings given are magnetic, and depths are those of Low Water Extraordinary Spring Tides.
