Fortune Island.
AN automatic acetylene gas-light showing one (1) white flash every three (3) seconds: thus:--Light, ('3 second; Dark, 27 seconds, was established April 23, 1916, on Fortune Island. The light is shown from a concrete beacon. Height of light above mean high water 415 feet. Visible 10 miles.

Entrance to the Min River.
Change in Channels----Alterations in Buoyage.
NOTICE is hereby given that the buoyage of the Outer Bar South Channel, Min River Entrance, has been discontinued, and that the entrance to the River is now via the Outer Bar North Channel. In consequence of this change of channels, the buoyage of the entrance to the Min River between the sea and the Eme Rock Buoy has been altered and is now as follows :---
A red Buoy, surmounted by á spherical day-mark, to be known as the Entrance Buoy, has been moored in 23 feet of water on the northern side of the entrance to the Outer Bar North Channel. From the Buoy, Rees Rock bears S. 65° W., distant 4.2 miles.
A red Buoy, surmounted by a frustrum day-mark, to be known as the Central Buoy, has been moored in 23 feet of water about 1 mile inside the Outer Bar North Channel. From the Buoy, Rees Rock bears S. 36° W., distant 2 miles.
