The visibility of lights is that in clear weather. Fog signals are sounded only in thick or foggy weather. The heights given are above high water.

TASMANIA-WEST COAST.

West Point New Light.

MARINERS and others are hereby notified that the new light on West Point will be exhibited experimentally on or about 1st June, 1916.

Position. Latitude 40° 57' S.; Longitude 114° 38′ E.

Structure.--Steel skeleton tower, painted white.

Character-Single flashing White light, showing one flash every 3 seconds, thus:-

2.7 secs.
