(2.) If, on the trial of any indictment for an offence under this Ordinance, the jury are satisfied that the defen- dant is guilty of any offence uuder sections five, six or ten of the Protection of Women and Girls Ordinance, 1897, Ordinance but are not satisfied that the defendant is guilty of an offence under this Ordinance, the jury may acquit the defendant of an offence under this Ordinance and find him guilty of an offence under sections five, six or ten of the Protection of Women and Girls Ordinance, 1897, and he shall be liable to be punished accordingly.
(3.) Section 5 of the Criminal Evidence Ordinance, Ordinance 1906, shall have effect as if this Ordinance were included No. 14 of in the schedule to that Ordinance.

An Ordinance to provide for the Extension of the Restrictions relating to Trading with the Enemy to Persons to whom, though not resident or carrying on Business in Enemy Territory, it is by reason of their Enemy Nationality or Enemy Associations expedient to extend such Restrictions.
BE it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-
