No. 603.--Tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 27th July, 1906, for the repair of the Post Office Launch Despatch.

Specification can be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office. Repairs to be executed to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor. Contractor to supply a suitable launch during the repairs and to be responsible for the safety of the Post Office Launch, in case of Fire or Hurricane.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender,

SUPREME COURT.

THE COMPANIES ORDINANCE, 1865.

The attention of the Companies registered under the above Ordinance is invited to the following provisions of the Ordinance which will be strictly enforced in future, viz. :—— Section 30.--(1.) Every company under this Ordinance having a capital divided into shares shall once at least in every year make a list of all persons who, on the fourteenth day succeeding the day on which the ordinary general meeting, or, if there is more than one ordinary meeting in each year, the first of such ordinary general meetings, is held, are members of the company.

(2.) The list shall state the names, addresses, and occupations of all the mem- hers therein mentioned, and the number of shares held by each of them, and shall contain a summary specifying the following particulars; that is to say,--

(a) the amount of the capital of the company and the number of shares

into which it is divided ;

(b.) the mumber of shares taken from the commencement of the com-

pany up to the date of the summary ;

(c.) the amount of calls made on each share (d) the total amount of calls received ;

;

(e.) the total amount of calls unpaid;

(f) the total amount of shares forfeited: and

(y) the names, addresses, and occupations of the persons who have ceased to be members since the last list was made and the number

of shares held by each of them.

(3.) The above list and summary shall be contained in a separate part of the register, and shall be completed within seven days after such fourteenth day as is mentioned in this section, and a copy shall forthirith be forwarded to the Registrar of Companies.

Section 31-If any company under this Ordinance having a capital divided into shares makes default in complying with the provisions of this Ordinance with respect to forwarding such list of members or summary as is hereinbefore mentioned to the Registrar of Companies, such company shall be liable to a penalty not exceed- ing one hundred dollars for every day during which such default continues; and every director and manager of the company who knowingly and wilfully authorizes or permits such default shall be liable to the like penalty.

Companies that have not complied with the above provisions are requested to do so without delay.
