NOTICE is hereby given that CHU LIM TOH (trading as Exe Hock
Tone (永福堂)
at Tek Ah Koey Street,
Amoy, Fukien, China, has on the 11th day of
February, 1916, applied for the registration in
Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks of
the following Trade Marks:--
The photograph of Chu Lim Toh encircled by the word Eng Hock Tong, Amoy,
and the Chinese characters
(meaning Eng Hock Tong) the whole appear in the form of a postage stamp. In combination with the said photo- graph is a smaller photograph, being that of his brother, also encircled by the said words and the said Chinese characters--the whole also appear in the form of a postage stamp. The representation of a fancy (oblong) design upon which appear the Chinese
characters 永福堂 meaning Eng
Hock Tong. In combination with the above representation is the repre- sentation of a fancy (oval shaped) design upon which is depicted a man- darin wearing a hat and holding in his hands a tablet bearing the Chinese
characters 永福堂 meaning Eng
Hock Tong, a servant is also depicted offering him a cup.
in the name of the CHU LIM TOH trading as ENG HOCK TOxo, who claims to be the pro- prietor thereof.
The said Trade Marks have been used by the Applicant since the year 1909, in respect of the following goods :-
Medicated wine, in Class 3.
