Notice to Airmen No. 5 of 1938.
ANTI-AIRCRAFT RANGE DANGER AREA.
Practice anti-aircraft firing is carried out over the area given below. When firing is in progress it is dangerous for aircraft to fly over the area at a height less than 10,000 feet above the level of the ground at the centre of the circle des- cribed below.
Cape D'Aguilar.
A sector of a circle of three miles radius, centred at Cape D'Aguilar at the point Latitude 22° 12'6' N., Longitude 114° 15.5' E enclosed between radii directed 40° and 122° True from the centre. The centre of the circle lies approxi- mately 250 yards 270° True from Tai Long Head.
Firing is carried out at frequent intervals. When the range is in use, signals are displayed as follows :
At Cape D'Aguilar.—By Day (a) A red flag hoisted over a black ball.
(b) A white letter "A" on the ground.
At Kai Tak Airport-(Top of Control Tower western
end).
By Day-A red flag hoisted
over a black ball.
