APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 605.-His Majesty the KING has been pleased to approve the provisional appointment of the Honourable Mr. ANDREW LUSK SHIELDS to be temporarily an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council in the place of the Honourable Mr. MARCUS THEODORE JOHNSON, who is temporarily absent from the Colony, with effect from 29th April, 1938.

No. 606.-Ilis Excellency the Governor has been pleased under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies to appoint Mr. JAMES CONNELL BROWN to be an Electrical Engineer, with effect from 3rd August, 1938.

No. 607.-It is hereby notified that JOSEPH PATRICK FEHILY, M.B., B.Ch., B.A.O., (N.U.I.), F.A.C.S., D.P.II., (Belf.), resumed duty as Port Health Officer and Inspector of Emigrants on 11th August, 1938.

12th August, 1938.

No. 608.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under section 3 (3) of the Vaccination Ordinance, 1923, Ordinance No. 12 of 1923, to cancel the appointment of Dr. H. COUYOUMDJIAN to act as a Public Vaccinator, which was published in Govern- ment Notification No. 438 of the 3rd June, 1938, with effect from 22nd July, 1938.
