2. The Minutes of the Meeting held on the 1st June, 1938, were confirmed.

ANNOUNCEMENT.

3. The Clerk of Councils recited the Letters Patent passed under the Great Seal of the Realm amending Article XVI of the Letters Patent of the 14th of February, 1917, constituting the Office of Governor and Commander-in- Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies.

His Excellency the Governor proclaimed the said Letters Patent.
