ORDINANCE No. 8 of 1935.
(ADULTERATED FOOD
AND DRUGS).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Adulterated Food and Drugs Ordinance, 1935, the Governor in Council amends the regulations made on the 2nd December, 1935, appearing under Government Notification No. 940 of 1935 in the Gazette of the 5th December, 1935, as follows:-
Amendments.
In Regulation 1, two further sub-headings numbered (XVI) (a) and (XVI) (b) are added after the sub-heading (XVI) "Buffalo Milk" as follows:-
(XVI) (a). Reconstituted Milk.-The quantity of milk fat present in reconstituted milk must not be less than 3.25% of the total component parts thereof.
The quantity of milk solids, other than milk fat, present in reconstituted milk must not be less than 8.5% of the total component parts thereof.
(XVI) (b). Reconstituted Cream.--The quantity of milk fat present in reconstituted cream must not be less than 25% of the total component parts thereof.

The Quarantine and Prevention of Disease Ordinance, 1936, Ordinance No. 7 of 1936, section 18.
It is hereby declared by order of His Excellency the Governor in Council that Canton is a place at which an infectious or contagious disease, namely, small-pox, prevails.
