The rainfall for the month of April at Victoria Peak was 2ins. 16 on 7 days at Mount Kellett, it was 2ins. 04 on 5 days, at Botanical Gardens, 2irs. 00 on 4 days at Cheung Chau, lin. 80 on 3 days, at Sai Kung, 2ins. 55 on 6 days, at Taipo, 3ins. 21 on 6 days, at Ping Shan, 3ins. 75 on 3 days, at Fauling, 3ins. 77 on 4 days, and at Lok Ma Chau, 3ins. 36 on 4 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 675 at 17h. 00m. on the 22nd. The maximum gust velocity as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 56 miles per hour at 01h. 25m. on the 1st.
