No. 30.-Ilis Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under the provisions of section 3, sub-section (1) of the Factories and Workshops Ordinance, 1937, Ordinance No. 18 of 1937, Mr. RONALD RUSKIN TODD, Chairman of the Urban Council, to be Protector of Labour, with effect from 1st January, 1938.

No. 31.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under the provisions of section 3, sub-section (1) of the Factories and Workshops Ordinance, 1937, Ordinance No. 18 of 1937, Mr. WILLIAM ELLIOTT to be an Inspector of Labour, Factories and Workshops, with effect from 1st January, 1938.

No. 34. It is hereby notified that Dr. GEORGE DUNCAN RALPH BLACK, O.B.E., Honorary Consular Agent for Cuba at Hong Kong resumed charge of the Cuban Consulate, on 7th January, 1938.

No. 35.-With reference to Government Notification No. 930 published in the Gazette of the 24th December, 1937, His Excellency the Governor has received informa- tion from the Secretary of State for the Colonies that Mr. TOYOICHI NAKAMURA has been appointed Japanese Consul-General at Hong Kong.
