It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor in Council has given directions for the rescission of the Order of the 23rd October, 1937, published in the Gazette of the 29th October, 1937, as Government Notification No. 761, declaring Haiphong to be a place at which an infectious or contagious disease, namely, cholera, prevailed, and the same is hereby rescinded.

No. 5. His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to direct under section 5 of the Buildings Ordinance, 1935, Ordinance No. 18 of 1935, that the name of Mr. ALFRED VICTOR JORGE ALVARES be added to the List of Authorized Architects published in Government Notification No. 324 of the 7th May, 1937.
