No. 405. It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the District Land Office, Tai-po, at 3 P.M., on Monday, the 14th day of May, 1906.
The Lot is sold for the term of 75 years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years, less 3 days, at a re-assessed Crown Rent as an Agricultural Lot subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906, and to the Special Conditions hereunder specified.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS.
1. Crown Rent to be paid at the rate of $1 per acre per annum subject to re-assess- ment when adjoining Lots liable to be re-assessed under existing Crown Lease.
2. No buildings to be erected on the Lot.
3. The Purchaser shall not be entitled to any right of access to the sea or to any com- pensation in the event of any reclamation being made in front of or to the seaward side of the said Lot.
4. Ample provision must be made to the satisfaction of the Assistant Land Officer for surface drainage, i.e., for the out-fall to the sea of land waters which may be interfered with by the reclamation of the Lot sold.
5. The Purchaser shall to the satisfaction of the Assistant Land Officer and at his own expense within 12 months of the day of sale build a dyke to keep out the sea and shall expend thereon not less than $500.
