declaration and specification required by the Patents Ordinance, 1892, have been duly filed in the Office of the Colonial Secretary of Hongkong, and that it is the intention of the above-named CARTER WHITE by Messrs DENNYS & BOWLEY, his Agents to apply to His Ex- cellency the Governor-in-Council at 9.30 a.m., on the 27th day of January, 1916, for Letters Patent for the exclusive use within the Colony of Hongkong of the said invention.

RUBBER ESTATE, Limited.
Tan Extraordinary General Meeting (of the members of the above-named Com- pany duly convened and held at No. 38, Canton Road, Shanghai, on the 29th day of November, 1915, the following Resolutions were duly passed and at a subsequent Extraordinary General Meeting of the members of the said Company also duly convened and held at the same place on the 14th day of December, 1915, the said Resolutions were duly confirmed as Special Resolutions :--
(1.) That it is desirable to reconstruct
the Company and accordingly that the Company be wound up voluntarily and that CHARLES JAMES LINDSAY STEWART be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.
(2.) That the said Liquidator be and he is hereby authorised to consent to the registration of a new Company to be named THE SHANGHAI KLEBANG RUBBER ESTATE, LIMITED with Memorandum and Articles of Association which have already been prepared with the privity and approval of the Directors of this Company and with a Capital of Tis. 315,000, divided in 315,000 Shares of one tael each.
(3.) That the draft Agreement submitted to this Meeting and expressed to be made between this Company and its Liquidator of the one part and THE SHANGHAI KLEBANG RUBBER ESTATE, LIMITED of the other part be and the same is hereby approved, And that the said Liquidator be and he is here- by authorised pursuant to Section 185 of the Companies' Ordinance, 1911, to enter into an Agreement with such new Company (when incorporated) in the terms of the said draft and to carry the same into effect with such (if any) modifications as he thinks expedient.
