The East Entrance Buoy will be moved about 35 cables N. 80° W. from its present position, and its navigating colour changed from red to red and black horizontal bands. It will then be moored in about 41 feet of water in the fairway leading to the northern entrance to the Crossing.
The First Crossing Buoy will be discontinued.
The Second Crossing Buoy will be moved about 13 miles N. 73° E. from its present position. It will then be moored in about 12 feet of water and will, as at present, mark the western side of the Crossing.
The West Spit Buoy will be moved about mile S. 69° E. from its present position. It will then be moored in about 32 feet of water off the end of the spit on the eastern side of the southern entrance to the Crossing. Its characteristic will remain unchanged.
The Crossing will then have a least depth of 14 feet; but owing to it being in a condition of rapid change, it should be navigated with extreme caution.
All bearings given are magnetic, and depths are those of low water of spring fides.
