NOTICES TO MARINERS.
CHANGE IN ORDER OF LIGHT.
Signal Hill.
THE light at Signal Hill has been replaced by a 5th Order Aga Light, the arc of visibility being the same as hitherto, viz., red with a white sector between S. 81° W. and S. 89° W., visible 10 miles in clear weather.
This light will come into operation on Monday, the 1st day of November, 1915.

NOTICE is hereby given that the character of light, candle power and visible distance of Shira-se Lighthouse, on Shira-se, outside of Sasebo Naval Port, Province of Hizen, shall be changed as follows at the beginning of November, 1915:-
Shira-se Lighthouse.
Character of light-Acetylene gas flashing white light showing one flash every
4 seconds.
Power :-White light, 130 candies and red light, 50 candles.
Distance visible:-White light, 10 nautical miles and red light, 8 nautical
miles; in clear night.
Further notice will be given after the above changes have been effected.
