The visibility of lights is that in clear weather. Fog signals are sounded only in thick or foggy weather. The heights given are abore high water.

Port Darwin.
Fort Point-Light established.
REFERRING to Notice to Mariners No. 4 of 1915, Mariners and others are hereby notified that the light on Fort Point is now permanently established.
Position. Latitude 12° 28' S.; Longitude 130° 51' E.
Structure. Iron post, nine feet high, painted white.
Character.~A group flashing White light with Red sector, showing a group of two
flashes every 6 seconds, thus ;-----

Sector. Shows White from 251° (S. 68° W. Mag.) through West, North and East to 97° (S. 86° E. Mag.) Red thence to 115° (S. 68° E. Mag.) obscured elsewhere.

Visibility. White, 10 miles; Red, 5 miles.
Power. --White, 200 candles; Red, under 100 candles.
