Newly Established Beacon Light to be shown.
NOTICE is hereby given that the newly established Tkada-iso Lighted Beacon ́on Ikada-iso, West entrance to Kuru-shima Strait, Inland Sea, will be shown as follows at the beginning of October, 1915 :-
Ikada-iso Lighted Beacon.
Position :-Latitude 34° 8′ 39′′ N., Longitude 132° 55′ 46′′ E. (according to the
Japanese Admiralty Chart No. 141).
Description:--Lower part concrete, upper part iron lattice work, painted red. Height of light:---331⁄2 shaku above the base; 40 shaku above the level of high
water spring tides.
Character of light :---Acetylene gas occulting white light, light two (2) seconds,
eclipse two (2) seconds.
Power-150 caddles.
Illuminated Arc :--The whole horizon.
Visible distance :-11 nautical miles in clear night.
The beacon being unwatched, should the light go out by accident there may be some delay in relighting it.
Further notice will be given after the above beacon has been lighted.

Canton River Back Reach.
Comus Rock Beacon Re-erected and Light Exhibited.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Comus Rock Beacon, Back Reach, Canton River, which was destroyed during the floods of July last, has been re-erected in its original position.
The Beacon is an iron pile, painted red, and surmounted by a circular day-mark, from which a red unclassed light is exhibited at a height of 22 feet above high water.
