“OTICE is hereby given that IHLERS &

COMPANY, of New York, a Corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of New York, one of the United States of: America, with offices at 26 Broadway, in the Borough of Manhattan, in the City and County of New York, in said State, have on the 5th day of August, 1915, applied for the registra- tion in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks of the following Trade Mark :-

BITUCRETE

in the name of Standard OIL COMPANY, of New York who claim to be the proprietors thereof.

The said Trade Mark has not hitherto been used by the said Standard Oil Company of New York but it is their intention so to use it forthwith in respect of the following goods:

Pavements and Materials therefor, in

in the name of IHLERS & BELL, LIMITED, who claim to be the proprietors thereof.

The Trade Mark has been used by the Applicants and their predecessors in business in respect of Beer, since at least the year 1873, in Class 43.

Tis hereby notified that an interim dividend of £2 38. Od. per share, subject to deduc- tion of Income Tax, has been declared for the Half Year ending 30th June, 1915, at rate of 1/9. 5/16 per dollar.

The dividend will be payable on and after Monday, the 16th August, 1915, at the Offices of the Corporation, where Shareholders are requested to apply for Warrants.

The Register of Shares of the Corporation will be closed from Monday, the 2nd August, to Saturday, the 14th August, 1915, (both days inclusive), during which period no transfer of shares can be registered.
