HARBOUR NOTIFICATION.

No. 4 of 1915.

Installation of the "Tungkou" Buoy.

NOTICE is hereby given that on or about the 19th instant an incandescent gas buoy, painted Red, showing a white light occulting every 8 seconds (4 sec. light, 4 sec. eclipse) will be moored in 12 feet of water L.W.S.T. on the outer edge of the shoal which projects into the Whangpoo from its left bank, between the Municipal Electric Power Station and Black Creek, and therefore on the starboard hand for vessels inward bound; the Tung- kou Creek Powder Magazine bearing N. 57° E. Mag. distant 1,620 feet.

This buoy will be known as the Tungkou Buoy.

CANTON DISTRICT.

Aids to Navigation. Temporary suspension of.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Comus Rock Beacou has been carried away by freshet. As soon as it is possible to do so a mark boat will be anchored on the site of the Beacon, pending its re-erection, carrying a red flag by day and a red light at night.

Also, notice is hereby given that all the Aid to Navigation Buoys within the Harbour Limits of Canton have been temporarily discontinued. Due notice of their re-establish- ment will be given.

CANTON DISTRICT.

Mark-boat over Comus Rock.

NOTICE is hereby given that a temporary mark-boat has been anchored over Comus Rock, pending the re-erection of Comus Rock Beacon, recently carried away by flood

water.

The mark-boat occupies the same position as that lately occupied by the Beacon, and exhibits a red flag by day and a red light at night.
