No. S. 149. It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the Police Station, Au Tau, at 12 Noon, on Thursday, the 22nd day of July, 1915.

The Lot is sold for the term of Twenty-one years from the 1st day of July, 1915, with the right of renewal for a further term of 7 years at a re-assessed Crown Reut as an Agricultural Lot subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906, and to the Special Conditions hereunder specified.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS,

1. The Purchaser shall immediately after the sale deposit with the Treasury the sum of $100 as a guarantee that he will comply with the Conditions of Sale which sum will be returned to the Purchaser on the Land Officer certifying that the Purchaser has com- plied with all the said Conditions and in the event of the Land Officer certifying that the Purchaser has failed to comply with the said Conditions or any of them the said sum of $100 or such part thereof as the Governor may think it shall be forfeited as Hiquidated damages.

2. The Purchaser shall within two years from the date of sale reclaim and convert the land into agricultural land to the satisfaction of the Land Officer.

3. After the expiration of the first two years the Purchaser shall not during the re- mainder of the term for which the Lot is sold permit or allow the land to remain uncultivated according to the custom of the country for a continuous period of five con- secutive years and a covenant to that effect shall be inserted in the Crown Lease of the Lot.

4. No buildings shall be erected on the Lot other than such as may in the opinion of the Land Officer be necessary for the proper occupation of the Lot as agricultural ground. For all land occupied by such buildings, whenever erected, the Purchaser shall pay Crown Rent at the rate of $50 per acre per annum such rent to commence from the date when permission was obtained from the Land Officer.

No. S. 150. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked Tender for Repairs to No. 1 Police Launch”, will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 23rd instant.

Specifications can be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office,

Repairs to be executed to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
