TIENTSIN DISTRICT.
Taku Bar.
Hulk placed to mark the Wreck of the S.S." Guthrie”.
REFERRING to Notice to Mariners No. 579, notice is hereby given that the wreck of the S.S. Guthrie is marked by the Customs hulk Tienching, which is moored in 20 feet of water at low water of spring tides, 2 cables south of the wreek.
The Tienching exhibits from sunrise to sunset two balls--o
-one above the other ---from her port yardarm and one ball from her starboard yardarm; and from sunset to sunrise will show three white lights similarly disposed.
Caution.-Vessels should not pass between the Taku Light-vessel and the Tienching. The wreck is now almost totally submerged at high water and the masts have disappeared.

NOTICE TO MARINERS, NO. 589.
CHINA SEA.
Ports of Indo-China closed to Shipping during Night-time.
NOTICE is hereby given that the French authorities have notified that on account of the war the ports of Indo-China will be closed to shipping from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., and that lights in these ports will be extinguished during these hours.
This notification does not apply to lights in roadsteads and along the seacoast.

The lighting of Brussovsky, Gamovsky, Jokarevsky lighthouses and of lights Nasimovsky, Pospelovsky, Galdabinsky, Admiralty Gardens, Admiralty Pier, temporarily discontinued, has been resumed from 21st March (3rd April).
No. 34.
On 1st (14th) April the lighting of Petropavlovsk lighthouse and of Petropavlovsk harbour lights has been resumed.
