Comiran Island.
An automatic acetylene gas light, showing a white flash every three seconds, was established February 8, 1915, on the north-west point of Comiran Island, Balabac Strait. The light is displayed from the top of a small white concrete tower, and is visible 10 miles over an arc of 280° from North to North 80° West.
