Uncharted Rock off Princess Rock, Approaches to Kiaochow Bay, marked by a Red Buoy.

NOTICE is hereby given that Japanese Notice to Mariners No. 429, of 1914, an- nounces the existence of a rock, with 30 feet of water over it at low water, lying N. 83° E., magnetic, distant 1.9 miles from Princess Rock.

The rock is marked by a temporary Buoy, painted red.

Wreck of S.S. "Guthrie" off Taku Bar.

REFERRING to Special Notice to Mariners No. 430, notice is hereby given that the mainmast of the wreck has fallen, and that for the present the black spherical shape, formerly hoisted between the masts, no longer exists. The remaining mast is also expected to fall, but in the meantime a black spherical shape, 6 feet in diameter, will be hoisted on it as soon as practicable.

HARBOUR NOTIFICATION.

No. 2 of 1915.

Blasting operations on wreck of s.8. "Hokusei Maru”: precautions to be taken by passing vessels.

NOTICE is hereby given that blasting operations for the removal of the s.s. Hokusei Maru, now lying sunk southward of the Astræa Channel No. 5 Buoy, will be commenced on or about the 1st February.

Whilst the work is in actual progress, indication of which will be made by flying Two Red Flags Vertically from the mark-boat, all steam-vessels when nearing and passing the wreck-in order to avoid causing a surge and thus endanger life-are to go as slow as possible.
