NOTICE is hereby given that Nojima-zaki Submarine Signal Buoy, off Nojima-zaki Lighthouse, Province of Awa, has been removed to the undermentioned position, and at the same time the signalling reoperated (See Notification No. 603 of Department of Communica- tions, October, 1914.)

Nojima-zaki Submarine Signal Buoy.

Position :-N. 45° E., distant 900 shaku from the old position.

Two Iron Pontoons Adrift in the Yellow Sea.

NOTICE is hereby given that a report has been received from Captain H. MACKINNON, s.s. Hsinming, that on the 4th instant he passed two iron pontoons adrift in Latitude 34° 10' N. and Longitude 122° 39′ E., 164 miles N. 11° E., magnetic, from Shaweishan Light- house. The pontoons were about 30 feet long, 20 feet wide, and were 3 feet out of the

water.

REFERRING to notice to mariners No. 394, dated November 6, 1914, an automatic acetylene gas buoy, showing one short white flash every four, seconds, was established December 7, 1914, west of Marabuan Point, western entrance to Iloilo Straits, in 6 1,2 fathoms of water, sandy bottom.

Bearings -Bondulan Point bears N. 38° E.

Watch Tower, Iloilo, bears N, 30° E.

The buoy is painted red; lantern structure, black.

The first class red nun buoy south of Bondulan, western entrance to Iloilo Straits, was discontinued December 7, 1914.
