No. S. 343.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tenders for Repairs to Launch H. (). 1", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Saturday, the 31st October, 1914, for repairs to the Govern- ment Steam Launch "H. 0. 1”.
Specifications may be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office.
The repairs are to be executed to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor.
The contractor will be required to supply a suitable launch for the use of the Health Officer of the Port during these repairs, and to be responsible for the safety of the Health Officer's launch in case of fire or hurricane, while it is under repair.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

AN uncharted Shoal has been discovered in Latitude 6° 02′ N. Longitude 118° 10' E. length about 3 cables in an East and West direction and width about cable North and South from above position, least depth of water 3 fathoms, low water ordinary spring.

NOTICE is hereby given that a recent survey shows a rapid narrowing and shoaling of the channel in the neighbourhood of the Upper Crossing Buoy. Passing the Waterman
