The discovery of the following shoals is reported by H.M.S. Fantome:-
Shoals between James Price Point and Station Hill.
1. A chain of shoals of less than 5 fathoms at L.W.O.S., of irregular shape, running in a N.N.E.'ly direction 13 cables from the shoalest part, which has a least depth of 12 feet over it at L.W.O.S. and lies 3304° (N. 32° W. Magnetic) 3.88 miles from Gantheaume Point Light, and 2734° (N. 88° W. Magnetic) 4.02 miles from Station Hill. In between these shoals are depths of 6 to 7 fathoms.
2. A small coral head with a depth of 32 feet at L.W.O.S. is situated 324° (N. 371° W. Magnetic) 5.50 miles from Gantheaume Point Light and 2834° (N. 78° W. Magnetic) 5:50 miles from Station Hill. This shoal is surrounded by depths of 6 to 7 fathoms.
3. A small coral head with a depth of 32 feet at L.W.O.S. is situated 3384° (N. 23° W. Magnetic) 5·32 miles from Gantheaume Point Light and 2941 (N. 67° W. Magnetic) 4:40 miles from Station Hill. This shoal is surrounded by depths of 6 fathoms.
4. A small coral head with a depth of 32 feet at L.W.O.S. is situated 329° (N. 321° W. Magnetic) 11-79 miles from Gantheaume Point Light and 3101° (N. 51° W. Magnetic) 10.74 miles from Station Hill. This shoal is surrounded by depths of 6 to 8 fathoms.
5. A small coral head with a depth of 33 feet at L.W.O.S. is situated 320° (N. 411° W. Magnetic) 9.65 miles from Station Hill and 339° (N. 221° W. Magnetic) 11-32 miles from Gantheaume Point Light. This shoal is surrounded by depths of 7 to 8 fathoms.
6. A shoal of sand and coral with a depth of 26 feet at L.W.O.S. is situated 190° (S. 9° W. Magnetic) 11.25 miles from the 87 summit on James Price Point, and 337° (N. 243° W. Magnetic) 15-65 miles from Station Hill. From this head the shoal extends in a Nor'-Easterly direction 1 cables, in an Easterly direction 1 cables, in a Southerly direc- tion 1 cables, and has depths of 44 to 5 fathoms. It is surrounded by depths of 6 to 7 fathoms.
7. A small shoal of sand and coral having a depth of 30 feet at L.W.O.S. is situated 2124° (S. 31° W. Magnetic) 10.92 miles from the 87 summit on James Price Point, and 329 (N. 321 W. Magnetic) 1900 miles from Station Hill. From this head the shoal extends in a Nor'-Easterly direction for one cable. It is surrounded by depths of 6 to 10 fathoms.

8. A shoal of sand and coral with a depth of 24 feet at L.W.O.S. is situated 285° (N. 761 W. Magnetic) 2.27 miles from the 87 summit on James Price Point, and 2021 (S. 21 W. Magnetic) 7.56 miles from the 97 summit just South of Coulomb Point. The 5- fathoms line surrounding the shoal extends 285° (N. 763° W. Magnetic) 2.77 miles from the above-mentioned $7 summit, 9 cables South, and 3 cables North from the above- mentioned 24 feet.
A depth of 30 feet sand and coral at L.W.O.S. is situated 244° (S. 62° W. Magnetic) 2.88 miles from the 87 summit on James Price Point, and 200° (S. 194° W. Magnetic) 9.44 miles from the 97 summit just South of Coulomb Point. The 5-fathom line surround- ing this shoal lies 4 cables in a North-and-South direction and 3 cables in an East-and-West direction from this head.
A depth of 28 feet sand and coral at L.W.O.S. is situated 2314° (S. 50° W. Magnetic) 3:36 miles from the 87 summit on James Price Point and 199° (S. 174° W. Magnetic) 10-2 miles from the 97 summit just South of Coulomb Point. The 5-fathom line surrounding this shoal lies 1 cable West, 2 cable East, 1 cable North, and 1 cable South from this head.
