Io-jima Lighthouse.

NOTICE is hereby given that, a temporary light will be shown on the tower of Iō-jima. Lighthouse, N. point of Io-jima, entrance to Nagasaki Harbour, and at the same time the proper light be withdrawn about the middle of October, 1914, for the work of changing the illuminating apparatus.

The temporary light, having 1,500 candle power of the 4th order fixed white, will be continued during the work goes on.

Others remain no change.

No. S. 306.--Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Licensing Board will be held in the Council Chamber on Wednesday, the 4th day of November, 1914, at 2.15 p.m. for the purpose of considering applications for Publican's Licences, Restaurant Adjunct Licences and Hotel Keeper's Adjunct Licences for the year 1914-1915 under the Liquor Consolidation Ordinance, 1911.

Forms of applications may be obtained at the Magistracy.

All applications must be forwarded to the Magistracy on or before Monday, the 19th day of October, 1914, and must be accompanied by a deposit of Four Dollars.

Applicants for transfers or new licences, and persons objecting to such applications, must appear in person,
