Owing to irregularities in the working of the lighting apparatus of Closter Camp light. house the "flash" lighting of it will be substituted by a permanent white light of a lantern of the "Samosvet" type, 1,200 candle power during repair from 22nd June (5th July),
MUKA HEAD LIGHTHOUSE,-PENANG.
It is hereby notified that on the 9th July, 1914, the intensity of the light at Muka Head Lighthouse, Penang, was increased from 45,000 to 200,000 Candle Power.
The duration of the flash has been altered to 11⁄2 seconds,
