In accordance with the Notification No. 25 of March, 1914, a Flashing Light is now exhibited from the New Lighthouse which has been erected on Önkan Tai, as follows:
Name.-Onkan Tai, Lighthouse.

Position. Latitude 23° 31′ 31′′ N.; Longitude 120° 2′ 0′′ E. (according to the Japanese Admiralty Chart No. 236).
Construction and painting.-Iron Lattice tower, painted black.
Height of light from the base.-50 feet.
Height of light above the water.-58 feet.
Order and character of light.-5th Order White Flashing Light by acetylene gas, showing one flash during every two seconds.
Illumination arc. -The whole horizon.
Candle power.-800.
Distance visible.—13 nautical miles in clear weather.
Note. The Light is unwatched. Should it go out by accident, there may be some delay before relighting it. Mariners are cautioned accordingly.
