Specifications may be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office.
The repairs are to be executed to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor.
The contractor will be required to supply a suitable launch for the use of the Health Officer of the Port during these repairs and to be responsible for the safety of the launch "H.O. 1" in case of fire or hurricane.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 345.-With reference to paragraph 6 of the Hongkong Postal Guide, on and after the 1st proximo all local letters whose delivery is unavoidably held over on retarded owing to the arrival of a contract packet or Siberian Mail will be marked "Delivery post- poned".
In no case will more than one local delivery be held over or retarded on these grounds.

No. S. 346.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Clothing to the Post Office Department", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 21st November, 1913, for the making up and supply of Clothing for the use of the General Post Office for the year 1914.

Tenderers must produce a receipt that they have deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $25 as a pledge of the bonâ fides of their tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown if any tenderer fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should such tender be accepted.

Buoy to be Established.
NOTICE is hereby given that on or about the 25th instant a 6-foot conical Buoy, painted black, and to be named the Pagoda Buoy, will be moored in about 38 feet of water at low water of spring tides, to mark the eastern edge of the Johnson Flats to the westward of North Tree Beacon. The exact position of this Buoy will be notified later.
