HARBOUR MASTER'S DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 298.-It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Mili tary Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under :

On Monday, the 29th September:—

From Stonecutters, in a Westerly direction, between the hours of 9 a.m. and

noon.

On Tuesday, the 30th September, and on Friday, the 3rd October:-

From Belchers, in a North-Westerly direction, between the hours of 9 a.m.

and 12.30 p.m.

On Tuesday, the 7th October :-

From Lyemun, in a North-Easterly direction, between the hours of 7 p.m. and

11 p.m.

With reference to Government Notification No. S. 288 of the 19th instant, the practice shown therein as taking place on the 30th instant from Pakshawan, will commence at 7 p.m. instead of at 7.30 p.m. as therein stated.

All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.
