No. S. 277.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of labour for the burial of infectious corpses", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 23rd day of September, 1913, for the supply of labour for the burial of infectious corpses for the period of one year from the 1st January next.

Tenderers must produce a receipt that they have deposited in the Treasury the sum of $50 as a pledge of the bona fides of their tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown if any tenderer fails or refuses to carry out his tender should the tender be accepted.

For full particulars apply at the Office of the Secretary to the Sanitary Board.

For form of tender apply at the Colonial Secretary's Office.

The successful tenderer will be required to sign a formal contract containing conditions to be prescribed by the Board and also to give security by depositing a sum of $100 in the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in the name of the Colonial Treasurer: failing compliance with these requirements the sum deposited with the tender will be forfeited.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 278.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Head Stones" will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 23rd day of September, 1913, for the supply of Head Stones for use in the Government Cemeteries, for the period of one year, from the 1st January next.
