KURAMAN ISLAND-NEW LIGHT.
THE new light-house in course of erection on the summit of Kuraman Island consists of a steel tower, braced columns, 50 feet high, painted white, dome red, and will exhibit, at an elevation of 215 feet above High Water, a white flashing light, showing one flash of second duration every 5 seconds. Visible (except where obscured by Labuan Island)

The light is Dioptric 3rd Order, 1. O. B. 70,000 Candle Power. Approximate position :--Latitude,

Buoy and Light (U).
The buoy on the South Western patch of 24 fathoms will have a superstructure painted white and will exhibit an unwatched occulting oil-wick light, visible 5 miles.
