Application for Registration of a Trade Mark.

NOTICE is hereby given that the ENTER-

PRISE TOBACCO COMPANY, LIMITED, (a Company registered under the laws of Great Britain) of Cecil Chambers, 86 Strand, London, England, and 22 Museum Road, Shanghai, China, Tobacco Manufacturers. have on the 9th day of December, 1912, applied for the registration in Hongkong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark :—

The Trade Mark consists of a square panel in which is contained an oval panel. At the top of this oval panel is an insert of peculiar design, and imme- diately under are the words GOLDEN CHARMS. At the foot of the square panel are the words ENTERPRISE TOBACCO COMPANY. LTD., and a Trade Mark of special design,

in the name of ENTERPRISE TOBACCO COM- PANY, LIMITED, (a Company registered under the laws of Great Britain) of Cecil Chambers. 86 Strand, London, England, and 22 Museum Road, Shanghai, China, Tobacco Manufac- turers, who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.

The Trade Mark is intended to be used by the Applicants forthwith in respect of the following goods: -

Manufactured Tobacco, in Class 45..

The above mentioned Trade Mark is to be associated with the Trade Marks Nos. 60, 61 and 75 of 19.3.

A facsimile of the Trade Mark can be seen at the Office of the Registrar of Trade Marks, Hongkong.

"OTICE is hereby given that the BRITISH CIGARETTE COMPANY, LIMITED, (a Company registered under the laws of Hong- kong), of 18 Bank Buildings, Hongkong, and 22 Museum Road, Shanghai, China, Tobacco Manufacturers, have on the 5th day of June, 1913, applied for the registration in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks of the follow- ing Trade Marks:-

1. A mark consisting of a Nautical An- chor to the right of which is the word Anchor" and the name of the Com- pany abbreviated thus: "B. C. Co. Ltd.".

2. A mark consisting of a Sledgehammer lying horizontally, above which is the word "SLEDGE and below the name of the Company abbreviated thus: "B. C. Co. Ltd.”,
