All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.

No. S. 221. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Repairs to Steam-Launch 'R. D. 1'", will be received at the Colonial Secre- tary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 25th July, 1913.

A list of work may be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

The work to be carried out to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor.

No. S. 222.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the erection of Subordinate Officers' Quarters will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 5th day of August, 1913, for the erection of a Terrace of Eight Houses adjoining King's Park, Kowloon.

No works will be permitted on Sundays.

THE following précis of a Russian Notice to Mariners is published:-

Two Fixed white lights have been installed on the North Shore of St. Olga Bay, in latitude 43° 43' 40" N., longitude 135° 14′ 21′′ E. The lights are visible 6:45 miles. Upper light 41.5 feet, lower light 31-5 feet above see level.

Lights in line N. 15° W. lead up between Petroff Bank and Chihicheff Island.
