No. S. 216.-It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Colonial Secretary, Singapore, to the effect that the quarantine restrictions imposed against the port of Hongkong on account of Small-pox were withdrawn on the 7th instant.

No. S. 217.—It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Colonial Secretary, Singapore, to the effect that Hongkong has been declared an infected port on account of Plague, with effect from the 7th instant.

Re- fuse of new goods coming direct from the weaving-mills, from workshops where apparel is made or from bleaching- establishments, artificial wool, and cuttings of new paper, are not considered as rags.

Quarantine up to 21 days according to the state of health on board the ships but subject to exemption ou production of certificates legalised by the Netherlands Consul General at Hongkong.
