The Lot is sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Kent as a Building Lot subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906 and to the Special Condition No. 5 published in Government Notification No. 278 of 1911.
The amount to be spent in rateable improvements under the General Condition No. 5 is $100.

No. S. 164. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the purchase of Pine Trees, Brushwood and Prunings from Trees", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 13th June.

No tender will be considered unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $50 as a pledge of the bonâ fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person shall refuse to carry out his tender, should his tender be accepted.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender.

NOTICE is hereby given that on or about the 26th instant the No. 3 Buoy in the Astræa Channel will be shifted 220 feet N. 23 E. (Mag.) from its present position, and will then be moored in 17 feet at low water of lowest Spring tides.
Notice is further given that Dredging is in process in the lower part of the Astræa Channel and will be continued over a field of 800 feet in width, the south side approaching to within 300 feet of the No. 2 buoy and extending 1,700 feet above and 2,000 feet below it.
