WRECK OF SHIP "NORMA”.

REFERRING to Notice to Mariners No. 24 of 1912, Masters of vessels and others are informed that on and after the 1st May, 1913, the Green Occulting Light Buoy will be: discontinued, there being now not less than 36 feet O.L.W.S. over the remains of the wreck. Masters of vessels are hereby cautioned not to anchor with the green light on the Semaphore Jetty and the red light on the Time Ball Tower in line or nearly in line by night, or the lighthouse on the Semaphore Jetty and the Time Ball Tower by day, bearing 104° true of E. S. magnetic.

This affects Admiralty Charts Nos. 1752 and 2389 A and B.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 42. It is hereby notified that scaled tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Saturday, the 1st day of March, 1913, for the letting of the old Post Office building from the 1st July, 1913, or so soon thereafter as possession can be given, to the 31st December, 1914, subject to conditions which can be ascertained at this Office.

Each tender should bear on the cover the words "Tender for Lease of Old Post Office Building" and must be accompanied by a receipt to the effect that the tenderer has deposited in the Colonial Treasury a sum of One thousand Dollars ($1,000) as a pledge of the bond fides of his offer which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if the tenderer refuses to carry out his tender and comply with the conditions hereinafter contained, should the tender be accepted.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender.

Form of tender and further particulars can be obtained from the Director of Public Works.
